    Construction Conditions
    • 1 Base surface requirements: The concrete base surface should be cleaned, repaired flat, and polished to a certain roughness. Ensure that the concrete curing is completed, the strength reaches C25 or above, and the moisture content is less than 8%. After processing the base surface, the next process should be carried out as soon as possible.
    • 2 Environmental temperature and humidity requirements: The environmental temperature at the construction site should be above 5℃, and construction can only be carried out when the relative humidity is less than 85%.
    • 3 Ventilation conditions: Ventilation should be maintained during construction.
    Operation Methods and Requirements
    • a Select materials.
    • b Recommended ratio of single square dosage: ≥ 0.9 kg glue, 1 ~ 1.1 kg (0.5–2mm size granules), 0.3 ~ 0.4 kg rubber powder, 0.06 kg color paste.
    • c The granule size is recommended at 0.5–2mm. When the glue temperature is low in winter, the viscosity problem is solved by heating the glue to ensure the covering and bond strength. First, fully stir the glue and color paste evenly, then add granules and red rubber powder and stir evenly again. Combined with the site situation, an appropriate amount of environmental protection diluent can be added to adjust the construction viscosity — do not adjust too thin, to prevent the material from penetrating into the particles and excessive atomization when spraying, which results in less slurry packaging on the granule surface and future granule loss.
    • d After mixing evenly, spray once in both directions.
    Suggested Use Qty
📐 Single square meter dosage ≥ 1.3 kg
    ❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1 What is the curing method of this polyurethane PU binder?
This PU binder cures at room temperature, eliminating the need for any special heating equipment. Once mixed and applied, it undergoes a chemical reaction with ambient moisture to form a durable, elastic bond without requiring elevated temperatures.
Q2 How long does the PU binder take to fully solidify?
The surface drying time is typically 6–12 hours at 25℃, while full solidification is achieved within 24–48 hours under the same conditions. Operation time (working window) is approximately 60–90 minutes, allowing sufficient time for application and finishing.
Q3 What are the base surface requirements before applying the PU binder?
The concrete base must be cleaned, repaired, and polished to achieve a suitable roughness. The concrete should be fully cured with a compressive strength of C25 or above, and the moisture content must be below 8%. Construction should proceed as soon as possible after surface preparation to avoid contamination.
Q4 What are the recommended environmental conditions for construction?
The ambient temperature at the construction site should be above 5℃, and the relative humidity should be below 85%. Good ventilation must be maintained throughout the construction process. Avoid application in rainy, foggy, or extremely cold conditions.
Q5 How should the PU binder be stored, and what is its shelf life?
The binder should be stored in a sealed container in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated environment. Keep it away from direct sunlight, rain, and any sources of ignition or open flame. Proper sealed storage helps maintain product quality and performance throughout the recommended shelf life.
Q6 What is the recommended dosage and mixing ratio for the PU binder?
The recommended single square meter dosage is ≥ 1.3 kg total. The suggested mix ratio per square meter is: ≥ 0.9 kg glue, 1–1.1 kg of 0.5–2mm EPDM granules, 0.3–0.4 kg rubber powder, and 0.06 kg color paste. In cold weather, gently warm the glue to reduce viscosity. Mix glue and color paste first, then add granules and rubber powder. A small amount of eco-friendly diluent may be added to adjust workability — avoid over-thinning.
