    Construction Conditions
    1
Base surface requirements: The concrete base surface should be cleaned, repaired flat, and polished to a certain roughness. Ensure that the concrete curing is completed, the strength reaches C25 or above, and the moisture content is less than 8%. After processing the base surface, the next process should be carried out as soon as possible.
    2
Environmental temperature and humidity requirements: The environmental temperature at the construction site should be above 5℃, and construction can only be carried out when the relative humidity is less than 85%.
    3
Ventilation conditions: Ventilation should be maintained during construction.
    Operation Methods and Requirements
✅ YP686 can be opened for direct construction.
During construction, in order to ensure interlayer adhesion, polishing treatment should be carried out (note: polishing floating dust must be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner). Roll coat solvent-free epoxy sealing primer. After the primer is completely cured, pour YP686 polyurea onto the floor and scrape it evenly with a trowel (3mm or 5mm trowel can be selected according to thickness requirements). After curing, proceed to the next process. Curing at room temperature for 12 hours, if encountering adverse weather such as rain after coating, a layer of interface agent must be applied before proceeding to the next process.
Under normal circumstances, the paint film should be cured for at least 7 days after completion of painting to ensure optimal performance of the paint film.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    Q What is YP686 one-component polyurea coating?
YP686 is a single-component, brushable polyurea waterproof coating that cures at room temperature. It features high solid content (93%), excellent adhesion to various substrates, and can form a dense, seamless coating film in a single application — making it ideal for roof waterproofing and terrace protection.
Q How long does YP686 take to dry and fully cure?
YP686 has a surface dry time of less than 4 hours and an actual dry time of less than 24 hours under normal temperature conditions. For optimal coating performance, the paint film should be fully cured for at least 7 days after the final coat is applied.
Q What are the base surface requirements before applying YP686?
The concrete base surface must be cleaned, repaired, and polished to a certain roughness. The concrete strength should reach C25 or above, and the moisture content must be less than 8%. The next construction process should begin as soon as possible after the base surface preparation is complete.
Q How much YP686 is needed per square meter?
The recommended usage is 1.2kg per mm per m². For the national standard waterproof thickness of 1.5mm, approximately 1.8kg of YP686 is required per square meter.
Q What are the environmental conditions required for YP686 application?
Construction should only be carried out when the ambient temperature is above 5°C and the relative humidity is below 85%. Adequate ventilation must be maintained throughout the construction process. If rain occurs after coating, an interface agent must be applied before proceeding to the next step.
Q How should YP686 polyurea coating be stored?
YP686 should be stored in a sealed container in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated environment. It must be kept away from direct sunlight, rain exposure, and any sources of fire or ignition to ensure product safety and shelf stability.
